What Pivotical is not.
It is not a clinician. It is not a diagnosis. It is not the place to take an emergency. We say this clearly so that what it is can be clear too.
Some of the most useful things we have built were defined by what they are not. The list we keep, in plain language, is shorter than you might expect.
Pivotical is not a clinician
We don't diagnose. We don't prescribe. We don't replace the people who do. The companion's job is to make you, and the people who care for you, better-informed when you sit down together.
Pivotical is not for emergencies
If a situation is acute, the right answer is the local emergency number, not a chat window. We will show that number when the conversation calls for it, and we will not try to manage what should be managed by people who can lay hands on you.
Pivotical is not a record of obligation
You are not a worse user if you skip a day. The picture is built from what you give it; it gets better with use; it does not punish absence.
What we are, then. An autonomous engine that evaluates the variables, suggests the protocols, and stays out of the way until it requires an action.
