Pivotical is not a clinician
Pivotical helps you track and understand your health, but it is not a doctor, nurse, pharmacist, or any other licensed clinician. Nothing it shows you is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for professional medical advice.
Always talk to a qualified clinician for decisions about your health, your medications, and any new symptoms.
Not for emergencies
If you think you may be having a medical emergency — chest pain, difficulty breathing, sudden weakness or confusion, severe bleeding, suicidal thoughts — stop using Pivotical and call your local emergency number immediately. In India, call 112. In the US, call 911. In the UK, call 999.
Pivotical is not designed to monitor or respond to acute medical events. Do not rely on it during one.
Patterns are not conclusions
Pivotical’s agents surface patterns — a possible link between your symptoms and a medication time, a possible response to weather, a possible interaction between two prescriptions. These are starting points for a conversation with a clinician, not conclusions.
If a pattern surprises you, share it with your doctor. Don’t change a treatment based on it without medical guidance.
Medications & interactions
Pivotical checks the medications you log against a public interaction database and flags potential conflicts. The check is a safety prompt, not a clinical clearance. The database is not exhaustive, and individual responses to medications vary.
Never start, stop, or adjust a medication based solely on what Pivotical shows you. Always consult your prescriber.
Wearable data
Wearable readings — heart rate, sleep, activity, oxygen saturation — are consumer-grade signals. Pivotical uses them to surface trends, but they are not medical-grade and should not be the sole basis for any clinical decision.
If a wearable reading worries you, treat it as a prompt to consult a clinician, not as a diagnostic finding.
Records & sharing
When you share a record from Pivotical with a clinician, you are sharing the data you logged plus what your connected devices reported. The clinician is responsible for clinical interpretation. Pivotical does not interpret records on a clinician’s behalf.
Children, pregnancy, complex conditions
Pivotical is not designed for use by children under 13 or as a primary tool during pregnancy. For complex or rapidly changing conditions, defer to your care team for any decision Pivotical might suggest.
